13 months

Presley (l), Cy (r)
Cy and Pres are 13 months old and are up to all kinds of fun new things!  Both are walking now, although Cy does not really have any interest in it.  Presley kind of went through the same stage, so I am assuming Cy will pick back up again soon.  They are so much fun to play with these days and love to sing, dance and wrestle (well...Cy loves to wrestle and by default that means that Presley is always the one getting attacked.  I am not sure how much Pres actually likes it).  They are so loving and want to hug and kiss on each other and mommy and daddy all the time.  It is the absolute best!

Their favorite songs are 'If You're Happy and You Know It' and 'Wheels on the Bus'.  They love to do some of the hand motions and bop their little heads along while we sing to them.

They still love peek a boo and now will hide behind doors and furniture and pop their heads out in addition to playing peek a boo with their hands in front of their face.

Apparently they are big fans of my parents pool...Presley was throwing himself into the water when the boys stayed with Grammy and Pop last week.
My parents also taught them how to roar like a lion although I have not been able to get them to do it lately.

Paul taught them to beat on their chests when he asks them 'Who's the man?'  It's pretty cute!
They also point to their nose when you ask where it is (50/50 if they point to their nose or their cheeks, but they get the general idea) and when you ask them 'how big are the olers?' they raise their hands up over their head in response.

They also have started feeding themselves with a spoon, but again they have to be in the mood to do it themselves (and mommy does too, because it gets to be a verrrry long meal when they insist on spoon feeding themselves).
It also needs to be mentioned that they have now had 7 haircuts.  The amount of hair these two have is the most amazing thing.  To be perfectly honest they really need a haircut on a monthly basis, but I can't work up the energy to do it that often!

All in all these boys are still as sweet as ever, but growing more independent every day.  They have definite ideas about how and when they want to do things and do not always like to be instructed otherwise!
