6 weeks old!
Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of two happy, awake babies these days?

Whiteside's visit
Uncle Ryan, Aunt MP and Evie came to visit for the weekend. They are looking to move to SA sometime this summer (hopefully!), so they were scouting out places to live. This was Evie's first time to get to really play with the boys because the first time she met them she was a little bit sick. She was very sweet to them and really wanted to help when they started to cry. The pictures and video are of her helping with Cy.
Cy was crying pretty hard so after a couple of minutes of Evie patting him on the back to try and make him feel better I picked him up. When I did that Evie very carefully smoothed out the blanket he had been laying on and then patted the blanket for me to put Cy back down. Once I did that she would very carefully try to get him to take his pacifier. We repeated this process a couple of times and every time she was so sweet and gentle with Cy. It was pretty cute.

Fun times with Aunt Susan and cousin Crystal
Paul and I have been looking forward to this past week for awhile. His older sister Susan and niece Crystal came to stay with us and help/play with the babies. The Hinshaw girls are lots of fun and we really enjoyed our time with them.
I finally got my first pics of Cy and Presley outside of our home when we took them out for pizza at one of our favorite spots in San Antonio, Fralo's. They have live music, BYOB and excellent pizza. The boys were on their best behavior and we all had an awesome time relaxing outside for several hours.

Cy wants you to check out his cool duds (Thanks Grammy!)
Susan's new trick for calming a crying baby is to turn the blow dryer on him. Presley was a big fan. (I tried to edit the photos...this is a family friendly site, kids)
...and he's out
On their last night in SA we headed out to the Riverwalk for some mexican food. Within 5 minutes of sitting at our table a huge thunderstorm rolled in and we briefly considering toughing out the rain. In the end, I was the worried mom who didn't think the blankets we had covering the boys were enough, so we finished the night inside the restaurant.
Thanks Susan and Crystal for coming to spend time with us! We loved having you here!!

Videos of the boys at one month
Time to back track for a second. Here is some video we took on the boys one month birthday. Please excuse the cheesy parents talking in the background ;)
Hair
So we have quickly learned that twins get A LOT of attention from people whenever we leave the house. We try to get out of the house for at least one outing almost every day and we have yet to go somewhere and not be stopped. Once people approach us, though, the conversation becomes all about the hair. They are amazed by the color and amount of hair that these 2 boys have. I do have to admit that it really is pretty impressive! So this post is dedicated entirely to hair -- Presley is definitely a wild man but Cy has very preppy hair...maybe their personalities are showing themselves early in this way!
Presley and his bed head
This is what happens when Daddy styles my hair (Presley)
Cy has more of the clean cut, J Crew look going on
Still a little wildness at the back of Cy's hair. We are learning to embrace the cowlicks and go with them
No bald spots here! (Cy)
